FYS-App v 9.3 has been released. This version has a few minor UI changes within the 9.x releases. Overall, I feel that 9.3 looks and feels great. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now. I hope you find it useful as well.

This week has been busy. FYS-Server keeps getting better and better. V5.3 introduces some performance improvements. Also, there are two servers running concurrently which provide higher availability. This version makes the server code very easy and fast to deploy on other servers if needed.

Updating an existing version of FYS-App is very simple, but it is different depending on the OS and the version that you are currently running. This version really simplifies the installation process. A Setup file is now used to do an installation of the app and its dependencies. Simply download the Setup file from the Downloads section execute the file.

This version contains an installation script for Windows. The script automatically installs the latest app as well as its requirements. If Python is not installed, the script will download and install Python as well. For details see the Download section.
