Happy new year. Today marks the release of FYS-App v 19.0. This version features important updates.

1- The authentication process has been simplified. Authentication now works with the browser of your choice. This lifts the dependency on Firefox.

2- The Windows installer is now much smaller, making installation much faster.

3- New features were added to manage Watchlists.

4- Mac OS X is supported again and the installation process for Mac has been simplified with a script.

Today (Jan 1, 2024) the financial markets are closed. This gave us the opportunity to make this release available to for the first trading day of 2024.
